What is nutritional medicine?
Nutritional medicine is a combination of nutritional and naturopathic medicine. It is founded on the principle that the body will heal itself if the conditions are right. It uses the latest research-based evidence in nutrition and biochemistry.
The aim of nutritional medicine is to restore health and vitality, produce a reduction in symptoms and halt the progression of disease and poor health.
Many of us lack the basic raw materials
(from food and drink) to function at our
best. Intensive farming, stress, stimulants, pollution and an over-reliance on processed foods are some of the reasons why some of us are lacking vital nutrients. As a result, we may develop serious degenerative diseases like cancer, arthritis etc. |

Or perhaps we may have energy slumps, headaches, poor digestion, cravings for sweets or stimulants, or just feel generally sluggish. If this is you, learning how to eat well can literally bring you a new lease of life. In the last twenty years, nutritional medicine has made great leaps forward.
Where once it was just a question of 'healthy eating' and taking vitamins, it is now much more tailored to the individual. I have seen for myself that it is a powerful therapeutic tool.
A great deal of my training is in
identifying the root causes of ill
health and how to treat it.
